About Us

OUR VISION: All Jesus-followers join together to worship our Lord.

OUR MISSION: To provide opportunities for Jesus-followers to fellowship, worship, study, and serve together, regardless of mobility, denomination, economic status, residence, politics, ethnicity, gender identity, or ice cream flavor preference.

OUR STRATEGY:

Online worship: The Judeo-Christian heritage centers on worshiping our God regardless of our environment. We were created to worship. In Accessible Fellowship, we leverage the online environment to gather together for the purpose of worshiping.

Online Bible study: Accessible Fellowship was born out of Covid-induced necessity to move our long-established adult Sunday school class out of the building. We study to show ourselves approved unto God, workmen who do not need to be ashamed.

Online fellowship: Besides wanting to continue with our Bible study, we acknowledge believers’ need for fellowship. We create opportunities for Jesus-followers to meet online for the purpose of socializing, becoming acquainted, making new friends, encouraging and supporting each other.

Service: The Bible repeatedly reminds us that we are to serve God. Regardless of our circumstances, each of us has an opportunity to serve as part of the Body of Christ. Accessible Fellowship will help Jesus-followers identify and exercise their spiritual gifts.

Personal, face-to-face engagement: Most of us crave personal, face-to-face engagement. As much as we leverage online environment for worship, study, fellowship, and service, we do not intend to replace or interfere with engagement of Jesus-followers with a local, personal, face-to-face ekklesia. Rather, whenever possible, we encourage and facilitate personal, face-to-face engagement. We hope that local groups will make arrangements to meet together. Moreover, an Accessible Fellowship participant who is able and led to shift their attention to a local ekklesia is encouraged to do so and will be seen as beloved alumni of our community, welcome to visit or return at any time.

Technical help: We cannot solve every technology problem, but we might be able to help overcome some challenges. The requirements are minimal. One can participate with a flip-phone or even an old-fashioned home phone. Full participation is possible an internet connection and a smartphone or tablet.
